Lantern Parade

Sat 7th Dec

This year's Lantern Parade organised by the Saundersfoot Chamber for Tourism will take place on Saturday 7th December 2019 from 6:00pm
It is a FREE event and open to EVERYONE to join in!
Suitable for all ages.

Make your own lantern and bring it along! The Chamber for Tourism are running a 'Lantern Making Workshop' at The Regency Hall on Friday 22nd November from 5:00pm - 7:00pm for anyone wishing to have a go at making one of the willow lanterns for the Parade. There is no charge for this workshop. Materials and tuition will be provided and all the lanterns made during the workshop will be stored by the Chamber. Those who wish to participate and carry a lantern on the night of the parade can collect their lantern before the event at 5:00pm from Dilys photography gallery on High Street.

Assemble at 5:30pm from the bottom of the Strand (just outside the first tunnel to Coppet Hall). Although the Tunnel will be closed from November 25th for resurfacing, the tunnel will be open on the night allowing those who wish to park at Coppet Hall car park to walk through the tunnel to join the parade.

The parade will start at 6:00pm led by Santa and Samba Doc and will proceed along the Strand, around the Sensory Gardens, down Cambrian Terrace, into the entrance of the Harbour where it will finish on the Harbour Decking with the lighting of the Harbour Christmas Tree.

There will be a road closure along the Strand from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and traffic management along Cambrian Terrace during the procession (approx 15 mins duration).

We hope to see you all there!
